ABOUT

IIliana Michali (1996) is a Greek visual artist and communicator based in the Netherlands. Her work focuses on the intersection of documentary photography, human identity, and visual storytelling.

Her practice is grounded in deep sociological inquiry. She uses the camera to explore themes of identity, the immigrant experience, and the performance of femininity. With a master’s degree in Visual Arts and Post Contemporary Practice from AKV St. Joost and an Integrated Master’s in Audiovisual Arts from Ionian University, she approaches every project with conceptual and research foundations.

Iliana currently serves as the Head of Communications at Pride Photo and as the Communications Manager at FOTODOK. This experience gives her a unique ability to bridge the gap between creative vision and brand strategy. She creates visual narratives that are emotionally resonant, helping brands and institutions capture their human side.
